FAIRFAX, Va. -- Jholie Moussa murder case moves forward after a judge found probable cause that her ex-boyfriend Nebiyu Ebrahim committed the crime.

In a hearing Friday, detectives testified that Ebrahim confessed to the crime in a four-hour videotaped interview.

They said that Ebrahim had called Moussa and that she left her sister to go meet him in Mt. Vernon's Woodlawn park, according to prosecutors.

Ebrahim told detectives that he and Moussa got into an argument as they walked along a path. He was angry about their breakup and the fact that he could not go to a party with her. He told detectives that he put her in a choke hold and demonstrated the MMA-style elbow-hold he put on his ex-girlfriend. Detectives said he told them he choked her two more times until she was dead.

Prosecutors say he dragged put Moussa's body in the woods of the park, covering her with leaves. He told detectives he came back later that night and scratched out a shallow grave with a butcher knife, according to the Washington Post.

Fairfax County Police found the body two weeks later during a search for Moussa at the park.
