'Don't come to school' written on bathroom wall at Forest Park HS

Police are investigating a threat that was written on the wall of a bathroom at Forest Park High School in Woodbridge.

According to a letter sent to parents of Forest Park High School, somebody vandalized a bathroom and wrote, "do not come to school on March 12, 2018."

The threat was reported to Prince William County Police Department and PWCS Risk Management Office. It is now under investigation.

Below, is the letter sent to parents:

Dear Forest Park High School Parents/Guardians: It was brought to our attention that someone vandalized a bathroom in a bathroom with a statement written on a wall stating, “do not come to school on March 12, 2018”. The matter was reported to the Prince William County Police Department and PWCS Risk Management Office. The matter is being investigated. We are confident that the departments referenced will perform their jobs tactfully. The Prince William County Police Department will have additional officers on hand at arrival, throughout the day, especially during lunch periods, and dismissal. We take this matter seriously and are committed to ensuring a safe and secure environment at our school. The safety of our students and staff is our number one priority. With everyone’s help, we can continue to keep our school a safe and effective place to learn.
