Two people are dead after police responded to what they believe was a domestic-related shooting in Vienna.

Police identified 53-year-old Ralph Titus and 47-year-old Sabrina Titus as the two dead in the incident.

Vienna Police were called at 6:49 p.m. on Sunday to a residence in the 100 block of Oak Street SW in Vienna for a 911 call related to an injured woman.

According to a release from the Virginia Police Department, officers located Sabrina Titus at the scene with stab wounds to the upper body. She was transported by ambulance to Fairfax Hospital, and later pronounced dead.

At approximately 6:56 p.m., Vienna Police were called to an address in the 100 block of Ross Drive SW for a “shots fired call”. Vienna officers located Ralph Titus with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the upper body.

Mr. Ralph Titus and Mrs. Sabrina Titus were divorced, according to the report, and had two children in common. The children were not physically harmed during the incident. The Vienna Police Department has coordinated with extended family to care for the children and contacted Fairfax County Victim Services for additional support.

The police say the case currently appears to be a murder/suicide incident. The case is an active investigation pending a final report from the Office of the Medical Examiner.
