A Prince George's County community group took some time out of their day today to mentor some young men.
100 Black Men of Prince George's County held a special golf outing for kids from Suitland and District Heights.
The group said it was a way to teach the kids a new hobby, while instilling some new life skills, like setting goals and being responsible.
Colby Penick said he's seen his grades go up ever since he became involved with the group.
"They guide me in the right path, so I can make it somewhere in life," he said.
The group has other mentoring programs too.
Its organizers said they would like to expand their reach.
