Second man dies following shooting in District Heights

DISTRICT HEIGHTS, Md. — A second man has died after he was shot in District Heights on June 1, police said.

Prince George's County Police identified him as 28-year-old Antonio Taitano-Walker.

On June 1 around 1:30 a.m., officers discovered a car idling in a parking lot in the 1900 block of Rochelle Avenue. 

The officers discovered Taitano-Walker and 26-year-old Davion Brandon, of Suitland, inside the car suffering from gunshot wounds.

Brandon was pronounced dead on the scene, according to police. 

Taitano-Walker was taken to the hospital but died of his wounds on Sunday, according to police. Detectives do not believe this was a random crime.
