ROCKVILLE, Md. (WUSA9) — A hotel in Montgomery County was evacuated early Monday morning due to flooding and high waters.

Around 3:45 a.m. Radisson Hotel guests in Rockville were evacuated through tour and Ride On buses. The hotel was at 85 percent capacity during the evacuation.

The flooding is from an overflowing storm drain that could not keep up with the volume of water.

Montgomery County fire and rescue teams are on the scene pumping water from lower levels of the building.

Code enforcement has been notified due to possible water damage to electrical system.

No injuries have been reported at this time.
