RESTON, Va. — A 62-year-old man is behind bars Wednesday after police said he is responsible for raping and abducting a woman in Reston.

Steven Edwards, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with abduction with intent to defile after an incident on June 11.

Officers were called to the area of Reston Parkway and Baron Cameron Avenue around 11 p.m. that evening where they found an injured 49-year-old woman.
