WASHINGTON -- DC police are searching for the suspect(s) involved in the fatal shooting of a Southeast man.
Just after midnight Saturday, police were called to the 1300 Block of Pennsylvania Avenue for the report of a shooting.
Officers arrived to find a man and a woman inside a home suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The man was unconscious and not breathing, while the woman was still conscious and breathing, according to police.
The man, now identified as 37-year-old Richfield Chang, of Southeast, was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, officials said.
The woman, whose identity has not been released, was also taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.
