WHEATON, Md. -- Police have located a missing 15-year-old girl and her two-month-old son from Wheaton, Maryland.
Wendy Orvelina Hernandez and her baby boy Jason Hernandez, were last seen by family on Tuesday around 6:30 a.m. when Wendy took Jason and left their Valleywood Drive home on foot.
On Thursday night, police said Wendy had been contacted her mother after she saw news stories about her being missing. However, Wendy did not tell her mother where she was.
Due to her age, police were still concerned for Wendy's and baby Jason's welfare.
Wendy was described as a Hispanic female, 4-feet-11-inches tall, weighing 130 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. Jason was described as a Hispanic male, with black hair and brown eyes.
