Get Up DC gives $500 worth of watches and a $500 gift card to help the homeless

We're always looking for ways to Give Back. So we've partnered with Easterns Automotive Group to recognize people doing things right in our community.

WASHINGTON — When Bruce Leshan met Faye Smith back in January, she was furloughed and at risk of being evicted. After he featured her story, donations poured in.

This Mother’s Day, Faye gave a watch to a woman struggling with homelessness.

This small gift created a bond of friendship, and gave birth to a campaign looking to make an impact.
