FOUND: 88-year-old Sterling man

STERLING, Va. — UPDATE: Deputies say Mr. Vandegriek has been safely located.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office needs your help locating a missing Sterling man.

Deputies say Albert Vandegriek, 88, was last seen in the area of Providence Village Drive Monday afternoon.

He is described in a police report as being 6-foot-2, 195 pounds, with blue eyes and white hair.

Vandegriek is believed to be driving a white 2004 Subaru station wagon with Virginia license plate ZJ-2363. 

He is considered endangered due to mental and/or physical health concerns, according to police.  

Anyone with any information regarding Mr. Vandegriek’s possible whereabouts should call the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office at 703-777-1021 or dial 911.
