FOUND SAFE: 5-year-old boy with autism who ran away from school

LOVEVILLE, Md. — UPDATE: The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office said they found a 5-year-old who ran away from his school on Tuesday.

Officials said Tuesday just before 5 p.m. Liam Harper was found safe. Thanks to all who shared.

St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office need your help locating a critically missing 5-year-old boy.

Deputies say Liam Harper ran away from an employee at Benjamin Banneker Elementary School in Loveville. 

Liam is described as a white male with blonde hair and is wearing a green shirt and blue pants/jeans. Authorities say is autistic and will run if startled.

Authorities are searching for Liam with ATV's, K-9s and helicopters.
