WASHINGTON — An Amber Alert has been cancelled for 14-year-old, Isabel Shae Hicks, who authorities believed was taken from her home on Oct. 21.

Virginia State Police cancelled the Amber Alert Wednesday after Hicks and Bruce William Lynch, 33, were found in Virginia.

Officials say Hicks was found safe and Lynch was taken into custody.

Authorities believed Isabel Hicks Shae was abducted by Lynch from her home in Bumpass, VA.  Lynch was believed to be armed with a 9MM and had suicidal thoughts. Officials believed Lynch was traveling in a blue/silver 2003 Toyota Matrix with VA tag VEM9071.

Lynch may have switched tags to VA, UXW3614 or 249-9UT, and authorities believed he may be traveling out of state or to an area where they could camp.

This is an ongoing investigation. If you have any information regarding the case, you are encouraged to contact Louisa County Sheriff's Office at 804-261-1044.
