LAUREL, Md. (WUSA9) — Police have identified the victim in Sunday morning's fatal shooting in Laurel, Md.
It happened in the 15700 block of Haynes Road. Police said officers responded to the home around 3 a.m. Sunday.
When they arrived, they found Christopher Stanley, 25, suffering from gunshot wounds. Stanley was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police said the shooting does not appear to be a random incident. Detectives are working to establish a suspect and motive in this case.
