Montgomery County school bus struck by moped, injures 1

The moped hit a slick spot and crashed into the bus, police say.

GERMANTOWN, Md. — Slick roads caused a moped to crash into a Montgomery County school bus on Thursday morning, Montgomery County police said.

The collision happened on Frederick Road in Henderson's corner in Germantown.

One person was taken to the hospital in serious but non-life threatening condition, police said.

Several lanes are blocked in the area of Frederick Road near Ridge Road as a result of the crash.
