MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. — Montgomery County Police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing senior who has dementia. 

Robin Kangling Tang, 74, was last seen at approximately 7:08 p.m. on Dec. 23, leaving his house in Grey Fox Lane. Police said it is possible he left in a taxi.  

Tang's family has been unable to contact him since Monday, and recently reported him missing. 

Tang is 5-foot-4, weighs approximately 159 pounds, has brown eyes and grey hair. He uses a walking stick and was last seen wearing a black jacket and black pants.

Anyone with information regarding Tang’s whereabouts, or anyone who sees him, is asked to call Montgomery County Police at 301-279-8000.

UPDATE: Alvin Brooks has been found safe and the silver alert has been canceled. 

A silver alert has also been issued for a missing 63-year-old in Silver Spring. Alvin Brooks was last seen leaving his Ocala Street home on Dec. 26. He was driving his 2018 grey Lexus LS 600, with Maryland tags: 3DM9082. Brooks is 6-foot, 280 pounds and walks with a cane. 

He was last seen wearing a Baltimore Ravens hoodie over a black vest, a United States Marine veteran baseball cap, blue jeans and black shoes. 

Anyone who sees Brooks or his car should call 911.
