PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. — A man is facing several charges, including attempted first-degree murder, after an argument turned to gunfire earlier this month in Fort Washington, Maryland.

According to a warrant, Prince George's County Police responded to Allentown Road after a report of a shooting in the area on Nov. 8. The victim told police that they were supposed to meet with Rohan Dwayne Patterson to settle a disagreement.

The two picked a mutual location to meet up. According to police, Patterson was driving behind the victim in the area and fired a gun at the victim. He then left the scene. After he was identified to police, a warrant was issued for his arrest the same day.

Patterson was charged with attempted first-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, firearm use/felony-violent crime, reckless endangerment from car, loaded handgun in vehicle, handgun in vehicle, handgun on person, and loaded handgun on person, according to deputies.
