NEW CARROLLTON, Md. -- A man was found dead near the escalators at the New Carrollton Amtrak station early Tuesday morning, police said.
After reviewing surveillance video, police said the man was walking up the down escalator. When he reached the top, he fell backward and struck his head.
Prince George's County Police are working to notify his family.
At this time, there is no impact to Amtrak service at this time.
The investigation is ongoing. No additional details have been released at this time.
