Police have charged 38-year-old Michael Patopie with sex abuse of a minor and second degree assault.
The father of a 4-year-old boy who attends James Ryder Randall Elementary Schools says he was asked to identify his son on a school bus video camera.
"We trusted the public school system to take care of our child," said the father of the victim.
Members of the county school board like Edward Burroughs call for immediate action.
"We need an external investigation. We need the resignation of board leadership immediately," he said.
He is in custody of the Department of Corrections on a $500,000 bond.
