Demetrious Johnson Charitable Foundation offering meals to families in need

“This is when the community needs to step up and help other people who may not have resources to take care of their family," Demetrious Johnson said

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — The Demetrious Johnson Charitable Foundation with help from Mizzou Football Coach Eli Drinkwitz and Just 1 Taste Catering are feeding 300 people in north St. Louis County on Friday.

“There’s a lot of people struggling and having a very difficult time taking care of their family,” Johnson said. “This is when the community needs to step up and help other people who may not have resources to take care of their family in this very difficult time. I’m honored to work for Coach Drinkwitz and Just 1 Taste Catering to make this possible to make someone day a little better for a moment.”

Food will be handed out at two locations:

Skate King Parking Lot: 6100 Natural Bridge Road, St. Louis, MO 63121 11 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Dellwood Recreational Center: 10266 W. Florissant Road from 1:30 – 3 p.m.

The food will be distributed to deserving families.
