VIRGINIA, USA — Slow and steady won’t win the race here!
People at the Autobahn Indoor Speedway in Manassas and Sterling, Va. challenged Easter Bunnies in go-kart driving races on Sunday.
About 500 drivers put the pedal to the metal, chasing the bunnies in Formula 1-inspired karts that reach speeds of up to 50 m.p.h.
Anyone who defeated the holiday hares received a podium finish and the chance to draw a prize-winning Easter egg.
“That bunny is one fast, elusive wheelman,” said Joel Lipp, Associate Director of Operations at Autobahn Indoor Speedway & Events. “How else could he hide so many eggs in so many places so fast?”
