WASHINGTON — Detectives are asking the public to help them identify three people tied to a stabbing homicide that happened in 2015.
Police on Thursday sent out photos of three persons of interest from the July 27, 2015 stabbing in the 400 block of E Street Northwest.
MPD said in a release someone flagged down an officer from the First District on the day of the homicide and told them about a stabbing victim alongside a nearby building. Officers found the man, suffering from apparent stab wounds. He was taken to an area hospital, but was pronounced dead/.
The victim was identified as 31-year-old Antonio Austin of Capitol Heights, Md.
MPD is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for anyone that gives them information that leads to the arrest and conviction of people responsible for any homicide committed in DC.
