WASHINGTON -- A woman was allegedly sexually assaulted while she was riding a vehicle for hire in Northwest D.C. over the weekend.
The assault happened around 2:45 a.m. Saturday in the 2200 block of Champlain Street, police said.
During the ride the suspect stopped and sexually assaulted the woman. The suspect is described as a black man between the ages of 25 and 35. He has an average build. Police said the suspect was last seen driving a red Nissan Altima with unknown license plates.
