WASHINGTON -- Two victims were kidnaped and robbed by an armed suspect in Northeast D.C on Thursday, Metropolitan police said.

Police believe the same man invaded at least two other homes nearby in the last two weeks. In one of those home invasions, a man was hurt struggling with the suspect.

The most recent incident happened around 3:25 a.m. in the 1200 block of West Virginia Avenue when the suspect entered a residence. Police said the suspect pulled out a knife and demanded cash.

The victims then got into a car with the suspect and were taken to another location where took out cash. Police said the suspect took the cash and fled.

The suspect was caught on surveillance video and can be seen in the video below.
