WASHINGTON -- Police need your help identifying and locating a man wanted for sexually assaulting a woman in Northwest, D.C.

Around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, police said the man approached a woman in the 1600 block of 18th Street. According to police, the man sexually assaulted her and then fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a black male with a dark complexion with a slim build and short hair.
