WASHINGTON – This summer, you will be able to see dinosaurs at the National Zoo! Well, animatronic and puppet versions of them, anyway.
It’s all part of the Smithsonian’s National Zoo event they are calling “Dino Summer.”
They will have two dinosaur experiences both “of prehistoric proportions."
From June 1 to Aug. 31, there will be life-size animatronic interpretations of the dinosaurs in an exhibit as well as a live performance called “Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo Live.”
The show will take audiences on a “prehistoric journey into a new dimension where they get to meet a menagerie of insects and dinosaurs that roamed the planet millions of years ago,” according to a release.
There will be three shows a day and they will last 30 minutes. Tickets for that are $10 for adults and $8 for children.
