WASHINGTON — A new report in the Washington Post says Metrobus is slow and unreliable in the District.

A report card released on Wednesday gives Metrobus an overall grade of "D."

The 2019 report was done by the 'Coalition for Smarter Growth' along with the 'Metrohero Commute' app.

Metrobus's grade was pulled down by some of its biggest problems: buses are commonly stuck in traffic, they aren't properly spaced, and they are chronically late.

The report also stated that Metrobus ridership has dropped 12 percent in the last five years.
