WASHINGTON -- A man is dead after being shot in Southeast D.C. early Monday morning, Metropolitan police said.
The shooting happened around 2:14 a.m. in the 2400 block of Skyland Place. When officers got to the scene they found a man inside of a home suffering from a gunshot wound. Police later confirmed that he was dead.
The incident is being investigated. There is currently no information on possible suspects or a motive.
