ARLINGTON, Va. (WUSA9) -- Clarendon in Arlington, Va. is on Niche.com's list of The 25 Best Cities and Neighborhoods for Millennials. It ranks third on the list, only coming in behind Greenpoint in Brooklyn, NY and South River City in Austin, TX.
Niche ranked the neighborhoods based on several factors, including percentage of people between the ages of 25 and 34, median rent, median income, crime score and "representative college." For the latter, Georgetown University was used for Clarendon since Niche paired Arlington with Washington, D.C. as a city.
Niche also used surveys of nearly 500,000 college students and recent graduates to compile the list.
