3 arrested during attempted robbery at White Oak 7-Eleven

Police are working to determine if the suspects are involved in any of the other ATM robberies in the area.

WHITE OAK, Md. — Three men were arrested after police say they tried to rob a 7-Eleven in White Oak on Tuesday. 

Around 3:45 a.m., Montgomery County police officers were in the area of the store in the 11000 block of Lockwood Drive, when they saw two of the men committing what they believed to be a robbery.

Police approached the men, who then ran away from the store. Both were later caught by other officers. 

A third man, who drove away from the scene in a pick-up truck, was caught by police after crashing into another car in Prince George's County.

Authorities are still trying to determine if these men were involved in any of the other ATM robberies in the area.

Police have not given the names of the men at this time.
