SPOTSYLVANIA, Va. — A husband and wife from Virginia were arrested on Monday after police found at least 40 marijuana plants inside their home while their 15-year-old son was present, according to the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office.
Kenneth Sharp, 61, and Amy Sharp, 48, have both been charged with manufacturing marijuana and child neglect, police said.

The marijuana plants were discovered after police said officers were executing a search warrant in relation to a child pornography case at the Sharp's residence.
During the search, police said officers found approximately 40 marijuana plants. The couple's 15-year-old son was present at the home when officers discovered the plants, police said.
Police have not released any additional information into the child pornography case that promoted the search warrant.
Both Kenneth and Amy Sharp are being held on a $500,000 bond.
