SAN ANTONIO - The National Weather Service said it wants the public to know the difference between signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

For example, NWS San Antonio said you might feel "faint or dizzy" of you are experiencing heat exhaustion, vs. having a throbbing headache during a heat stroke.

Victims of both conditions might experience nausea or vomiting.

However, a weak pulse could be a sign of heat exhaustion, while a "rapid, strong pulse" is a sign of heat stroke.
NWS said it encourages people to learn the warning signs so you can stay safe in the summer heat.
