19-year-old man found shot to death in a crashed car in Prince George's County

UNIVERSITY PARK, Md. — Prince George’s County Police are working to find answers after a 19-year-old was found dead in a crashed car in University Park Wednesday afternoon.

Police found Luis Miguel Utrera of Hyattsville unresponsive in the driver’s seat after crashing into a tree around 2:35 p.m. in the 4000 block of Underwood Street. He had a gunshot wound to his upper body, according to police. Utera was pronounced dead on the scene. 

Police have not yet identified any suspects or motives, and a cause of death has not been determined. The incident remains under investigation.
