700th Honor Flight lands in DC paying tribute to war veterans

The veterans will visit D.C. monuments built in their honor.

WASHINGTON -- The 700th Honor Flight landed at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) on Tuesday carrying veterans from World War II, Korean and Vietnam Wars.

The American Airlines flight was coordinated by the Honor Flight Network, a group of nonprofit organizations who bring veterans to D.C. 

Veterans on the flight will visit several monuments in the district that were built in their honor.
