WASHINGTON — Three people were injured in a car crash involving a D.C. police cruiser in Northeast on Saturday, police said.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened around 5:13 p.m. on Saturday in the 1200 block of Monroe Street in Northeast.
Authorities said two officers were responding to a call when they collided with another car at the intersection.
Both officers and the driver of the second car were transported to local hospitals, according to a police report.
There is no word on the extent of their injuries or what caused the accident at this time.
