Children's Hospital patients have partnered with DC designers to create festive holiday decorations

The unique decor will be auctioned off during the third annual 'Light Up the Season' event on Sunday.

WASHINGTON — A dazzling and unique display of one-of-a-kind holiday decor currently adorns the Four Seasons Washington hotel and will be auctioned off on Sunday.

The festive pieces were designed by patients at Children's Hospital in conjunction with D.C. designers who donated their time to help with the projects.

The auction is just one component of the third annual "Light Up the Season" fundraising event hosted by the Children's Hospital Board. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to help children at the hospital.

In addition to the auction, the Four Seasons will host the event for people of all ages. Activities include holiday arts and crafts, ornament making, musical performances, pop up shops and photos with Santa.

Tickets to the event can be purchased HERE. The link also provides more details about the event.

WUSA9 anchor Adam Longo will co-emcee the event with his 9-year-old daughter, Lucia. It runs from 1-4 p.m. on Dec.15.
