WASHINGTON -- A Washington Capitals season ticket member did a heartwarming good deed after winning Wednesday night's 50/50 raffle.
The ticket holder decided to waive the 50/50 raffle prize and donate the money to the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh to benefit the victims and families of the mass shooting at a Pittsburgh synagogue.
The Caps season ticket holder donated the entire 50/50 raffle total of $38,570 to the victims and families of the Tree of Life Synagogue.
