- Get a professional photographer. There might be less foot traffic in the winter, but online traffic for real estate doesn't slow down. This increases interests of potential buyers, and gets more people through your front door.
- Don't be discouraged by fewer buyers. There may be fewer people looking to buy in the winter, but that doesn't mean the real estate business stops. The buyers out there are extremely motivated and don't want to waste their time during the holidays. This can yield great, competitive offers.
- Take advantage of lower interest rates. Although some sellers have to reduce the price of their home this time of year due to lower competition, there are terns that can offset this. Interest rates are expected to go up at the start of 2019, so getting into a new home before then can set you ahead financially.
