The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance (OCRFA) is excited to host “Turn Up the Heat” featuring more than 40 of the top female chefs and mixologists from around DC.

Since its inception, Turn Up the Heat has raised more than $2.4 million to fund lifesaving research in the fight against ovarian cancer.

Ovarian Cancer research is crucially important because the disease so deadly. The American Cancer Society estimates that in 2018, about 22,240 new cases of ovarian cancer will be diagnosed and 14,070 women will die from the disease, that's 63 percent!

Ovarian cancer is the 11th most common type of cancer among women and the fifth leading cause of cancer related deaths.

OCRFA’s Turn Up the Heat is a great way to support the cause, while enjoy great food and drink.
