John Henry joined WUSA9 as a multimedia journalist in June 2016.
He previously worked for KSDK-TV in St. Louis and WBIR-TV in Knoxville, Tennessee.
In St. Louis, John got the opportunity to cover many big stories. He covered the unrest in Ferguson, Missouri following the shooting death of Michael Brown, historic flooding along the Meramec River that damaged hundreds of homes in Missouri and Ilinois, and the relocation of the St. Louis Rams to Los Angeles.
John is excited to join the WUSA9 team in Washington, DC, but this isn't his first time in the area. He lived in Howard County, Maryland for the first few years of his life.
He also traveled to Washington, DC to help WUSA9 cover the unrest in Baltimore in 2015 and the historic blizzard that hit the DMV in the winter of 2016.
John Henry is a graduate of the University of Missouri in Columbia.
