WASHINGTON — Anna is a producer at WUSA9. She produces daily content for WUSA9’s TV, digital and social platforms, working primarily on Open Mic with Reese Waters (airing weeknights at 7pm!).
Stepping into this role in the middle of the COVID-19 crisis, Anna covered the pandemic’s escalating impact in D.C., Maryland and Virginia. Anna helped launch WUSA9’s Got My Shot initiative. Through a multi-part series, she told the stories of people in DC, Maryland and Virginia who were at first fearful of the COVID-19 vaccines – and explored why they changed their minds.
Capping off Women's History Month in 2022, Anna produced a special, WUSA9 Celebrates Women's History Month. Through this special, she highlighted the immeasurable impact of women in the DC metro area, efforts to preserve their stories and how generations of women continue to shape the course of history.
Anna graduated from Scripps College in Claremont, CA with a dual major in politics and French. She saw firsthand the impact that journalism can have on a community as an investigative reporter and co-editor-in-chief of her college newspaper, The Scripps Voice.
An inveterate traveler, she spent her junior year of college at Sciences Po Paris and in Geneva, while snacking her way across Europe. Prior to that, she studied and traveled in Thailand, Cambodia and Myanmar.
Anna loves D.C. but will always call Massachusetts home.
