Erica Parsons' adoptive parents to be charged with her murder

Rowan County Sheriff Kevin Auten announced that Parsons adoptive parents, Sandy and Casey Parsons, would face first-degree murder charges in connection with her disappearance and death.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – It has been over a year since the remains of Erica Lynn Parsons were found buried in a shallow grave on a dirt road in rural Chesterfield County, South Carolina.

Finally, on February 20, 2018, Rowan County Sheriff Kevin Auten announced that Parsons adoptive parents, Sandy and Casey Parsons, would face first-degree murder charges in connection with her disappearance and death.
