DMV restaurants that are supporting Hurricane Harvey relief

Southeast Texas recently experienced one of worst floods in its history due to Hurricane Harvey. The category 4 hurricane dumped a total of 27 trillion gallons of rain over Texas, and left an estimated 30,000 people in need of temporary shelter.

Many restaurants in the DMV have made it their mission to support the victims of the hurricane relief.

Black Restaurant Group is offering a dollar-for-dollar donation match up to $100,000 from now until September 14th. Dining guests will be able to make donations on their checks that will be matched by Black’s Family Foundation. If the donation goal is not met by their target date, the drive will continue.

All donations will be used to provide food, water, serving equipment, ground transportation and chef-prepared meals to the victims of the flood. Visit their sites to donate today.

If you’ve got a taste for Japanese food, Sushi-Zen Japanese Restaurant, will donate $1.00 for every Cali roll sold until September 30th.
