WASHINGTON (WUSA9) - After some early morning clouds and fog, we'll see a return of the sunshine by mid-morning today. This afternoon, temperatures will be in the low 80s with low humidity, making for a fantastic Thursday. Just don't forget the sunscreen and a hat if you're spending a lot of time outside; with low humidity and comfortable temperatures you will not feel yourself geting burned. It'll be a great night to go to Nationals Park to see the Nats take on the Rockies as they return home.
Summer will arrive at 1:04 AM on Friday with the summer solstice. It'll be another pleasant day, but a bit warmer and more like the summer season. Our first weekend of summer will be typical with highs around 90 degrees. An isolated storm is possible on Sunday, but the bulk of the unstable energy holds off until next workweek.
Latest Pollen Count: Low for trees weeds, and grass and high for mold.
