Hit-and-run victim survives but loses daughter's ashes
A woman was crossing a busy street - not in a crosswalk - late Sunday night when a car hit her and took off. The car hit the woman so hard that her shoes were more than 15 feet away, and all of her belongings were strewn all over the street.
