WRAP contest for cool ideas to prevent underage drinking

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Students can win money and recognition this spring just for doing the right thing. The Washington Regional Alcohol Program, or WRAP, is recognizing high school teens who have come up with cool ideas to prevent their peers from underage drinking. With prom and graduation season almost here, that's more important than ever.

Area schools from DC, Montgomery, Prince George's, Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William counties are eligible to win up to $1,000 for the first prize in the 2014 Geico Student Awards Contest.

Judges are interested in creativity, leadership and involvement in the projects.

The contest is free and submissions will be accepted until April 28th. You can get more information here: http://www.wrap.org/files/youthOutreach.htm
