DC Taxicab Commission chair talks Cheh bill, future

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- District of Columbia Councilwoman Mary Cheh has proposed scrapping the D.C. Taxicab Commission as part of a sweeping transportation bill. She wants to re-organize the city's transportation agencies. The main part of the bill would siphon some current DDOT functions off to a new agency, the DC Transit Authority.

Wednesday, Ron M. Linton, the Chairman of the DCTC, joined us to talk about Cheh's Transportation Reorganization Act (TRA) of 2014, which would dissolve the agency altogether.

We asked him about the criticism his agency has received and more.
