PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD (WUSA9) - UPDATE, Oct. 23, 5:16 p.m.: All lanes have reopened
ORIGINAL POST, Oct. 23, 1:42 p.m.: Emergency crews are clearing the roadway following a crash on the Outer Loop of the Beltway in Prince George's County Monday afternoon.
According to Prince George's Fire spokesman Mark Brady, two men were transported with critical injuries after a serious crash on the Beltway near Branch Avenue.
The Outer Loop is closed as the investigation continues into the crash, which trapped one man in his car.

A second male was injured as he tended to his tractor-trailer on the side of the road.

The road remains closed as the investigation is ongoing.
