GREAT FALLS, Va. (WUSA9) -- VDOT will be repaving eight miles of Georgetown Pike from the Beltway to Springvale Road in Great Falls beginning this Sunday, August 10th.

VDOT will be repaving eight miles of Georgetown Pike from the Beltway to Springvale Road in Great Falls beginning this Sunday, August 10th. The road will be milled, patched and repaved.

The road will be milled, patched and repaved. Crews will be out Sunday through Thursday 9 p.m. to 5 a.m, and Friday and Saturday 9 p.m. to 9 a.m.

The work is expected to take about two months to complete, so you may want to consider using Old Dominion Drive or Leesburg Pike instead.
