WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- After hours of rain, we're seeing flooding in several parts of our area on Thursday morning. We're checking with officials about road closures due to high water and flooding.

Here is our list so far:

Rock Creek Parkway and Beach Drive between Conn Avenue and Virginia Avenue NW .

The Capital Crescent Trail between Fletcher's Cove and the end of the trail at Water Street in Georgetown in Chesapeake & Ohio Canal National Historical Park is closed until further notice due to a large sewage spill. The tunnel below Canal Road near Foxhall is also closed.

MDSHA reports that northbound 29 near University Blvd is closed with high water

Compromise St, Newman St, and Dock St are closed due to flooding.

Duke of Gloucester St may also be closed should the water continue to rise at the intersection with Compromise St.

Should Duke of Gloucester St be closed no traffic will be flowing across the Eastport Bridge. Do not use the Eastport Bridge to enter downtown.
